Message	Nissan. Nissan's being taken over by Renault along with huge sales of the Xterra paved the way for Nissan to step up their ambitions. The mark up on sport utes is nearly obscene. If I sold a Pathfinder back when I was a Nissam saleman at MSRP (avg ~34k) the commision ALONE was ~$3400 @30% commision. Xterras sold like freaking hotcakes when they came out. That combined with new management philosophy and design goals is what revived Nissan from the comatose years in the mid to late '90s.
